ITINERARY

DAY 1: Arrival in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. Drive by 6WD bus to the Karakovaya river. (380 km.) Set up camp base.

DAYS 2 - 5: Rafting along the Karakovaya river and fishing (Salvelinus alpinus, Parasalmo mykiss)

DAY 6: Drive by 6WD bus to Paratunka Hot Springs resort (or to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky), Accommodation at the Paratunka Hot Springs Resert (here you can bathing in thermal pool) or at a hotel in Petropavlovsk City . Overnight in hotel.

DAY 7: Helecopter excursion to Valley of Geysers . See geysers and numerous mud pots, water and steam fountains. Lunch at the restaurant in the Valley. Return to Paratunka Hot Springs resort or to Petropavlovsk-City. Overnight in hotel.

DAY 8: Helicopter flight to Opala river (or Zhupanova river). Set up camp base.

DAYS 9-12: Rafting along the Opala river (or Zhupanova river) and fishing.

DAY 13: Return to Paratunka Hot Springs resort or to Petropavlovsk-City.Accommodation at the Paratunka Hot Springs Resert or at a hotel in Petropavlovsk City . 

DAY 14: City-tour. (It is a reserve day because at day 13 bad weather can prevent return on day 13 in which case you would return on day 14).

DAY 15: Visit to a fish market for caviar and salmon. Departure.
