It is the biggest alive volcano in Eurasia - 4848 m over the sea level. It has a perfect incredible beautiful cone. Together with Kamen- (Stone), Unnamed, Flat Tolbachik it forms the Kluchevskaya group of volcanoes. This colossal mountain is 8000 years old and you have unique opportunity to see it by yourself and also to climb it.
You must have a special alpine equipment and to be ready for the mountaineering, for the alpinism training. On the top there is a big crater, from which the huge streams of gases and sulphur comes out. The eruptions are accompanied by the explosions, throw-outs of gas and ashes and ash falls. The most powerful eruptions of Kluchevskaya came out from the major crater, but the volcano-s activity is also characterized by "parasite" craters 60-200 m tall that stands 8-25 km from the major one.
