Koryaksky Volcano

Koryaksky volcano is located close to Elizovo town and Petropavlovsk city.
It belongs to the Avachinskaya group of the active and extinct series of volcanoes. There is no reliable evidence of the time of onset of Koryaksky activity. The altitude of this volcano is 3456 m (11405 f).

Koryaksky is recommended to the people, who have any extreme training. You will have to use your skills and habits in trekking and in the mountaineering, also you are to have a special alpine equipment.

The campsite is set at the foot of this volcano, and you can start early in the morning. The beauty of this magic volcano will amaze you, take more films and camera with you. At the back side of the volcano there are glaciers with the emerald color.
Climbing takes you several hours. There are 2 summits on the top and you are welcome to enjoy the marvelous panorama of the cities, other volcanoes and ocean.

Koryaksky will confer you many interesting feelings, but the most important that you will be above the clouds.
